United Way “Day of Caring” Project

Posted on October 9, 2017 by - General

We would like to thank FreightCar America for adopting Hospice of the Shoals for their United Way “Day of Caring” Project. This year’s project was a great success thanks to FreightCar America employees, Jay Elliott, Sawyer Russell, Leon Borden, and Kaylan Pope who came in and went right to work, pressure washing our building and making it look clean and new again. We would also like to thank our Hospice of the Shoals volunteers for all of their hard-work and help with bagging the groceries for the Unite to Fight Hunger Project with the United Way. Volunteers like these caring people is what make our community strong.
